This new museum is a must see for visitors to Ohio’s Amish community where the finely carved artwork of David Warther is displayed in this large new facility.
Carving in miniature, in antique ivory, with intricate scrimshaw engraving, David works daily in his on-site workshop where he greets visitors and shows them his carving techniques and intricate tools.
Warther knives have been made in Dover, Ohio since 1902.
It began as a little shop making kitchen knives and soon the family was making pocket knives, hunting knives and, during World War II, commando knives.
By early 2019 the new Warther pocket knife is expected to arrive after years of not being available. To read the history of Warther knife making and to learn more about the debut of this new knife Click here.
